Due to my T-level course I have had the opportunity to be placed in 2 primary schools in South East London. One key stage 2 setting one on an early years setting. 

 

Key stage 2 (year 4)

For 6 months I had the opportunity to work at a good provider school in their year 4 setting. I supported the children learn with the national curriculum of key stage 2. This includes supporting them in Maths, English, Grammar, science and more. This gave me the opportunity to work in one on one and in small groups with children to support them in subjects. I also had the opportunity go on school trips for example trips to the libraries and museums. I also formed good bonds with the child to aid with emotional regulation. 

 

Early years (EYFS) 

Over the past year i have had the opportunity to work at an outstanding educational provider in there early years setting. I have supported children is socal and emotional development and all other areas of learning for the EYFS. I have supported staff in providing enriching activities and running small group intervention. I supported in reception getting children to meet the early learning goals (ELG) and nursery developing children learning through play. This has been a very rewarding opportunity for me to grow and develop my skill set and is where my level 3 qualification is in.
