I have been involved in setting up a youth lead radio station in lewisham. Radio lewisham was a concept made by the former young mayor in 2023. Radio lewisham allow young people to share their views, skills and interest in a professional setting to the south East London Air waves. Some of my key roles and responsibilities were to ensure the station was up and running 24/7 and to assist with the radio training as a peer mentor. In January 2026 I was appointed as the head of content for Radio Lewisham. All shows programmes and commissioned show are under my responsibility. I've run radio development session, given show feedback and produced and been the executive producer for 2 commissioned show.

Radio Lewisham

I was a peer mentor and workshop facilitators for the SV academy in south East London. This alternative provision ran a one week music workshop for young people to engage in podcast production, music composing and lyrics writing. I designed and ran the podcast element of the project and supported in other classes and recording live instruments. I was also tasked with assist other staff to promote student wellbeing and safeguarding. It was a rewarding project to see young people taking part and interacting with each through they love of the arts.

young urban arts Foundation

I have very recent gotten a freelance job as a Youth worker for Young urban arts foundation. This involves assisting with creative workshops. Outreach for the young people and to ensure young people are engaged and safe during the programme.
